PM says government to allocate 35 bln rbl to support unemployed

MOSCOW, Oct 19 (PRIME) -- The Russian government will allocate additional 35 billion rubles to support the unemployed, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin told his deputies on Monday.

“The government continues to support people, who lost their jobs, including due to the spread of the coronavirus. They were awarded the maximum unemployment payment as well as payments for underage children,” he said.

“We have disbursed more than 165 billion rubles from the 2020 budget for the purposes and the government will additionally allocate over 35 billion rubles to support the unemployed in all the regions. The ruling has been signed.”
